Websites should give people confidence, not anxiety.
They should be owned by the client
—not held hostage

The Wee Web Studio exists because too many organisations are left feeling confused and dependent. That belief isn’t theoretical, it comes from lived experience.

Not the expert who takes over

You own your domain, hosting, content, and credentials — always

Not locked into monthly contracts — unless you ask for monthly support

Costs and timelines flex with real-life constraints

Technical decisions explained in plain language

AI is not dismissed — I can help you to integrate it in your workflows if necessary

If you want to build yourself, I’ll support that. Hit a wall — I’m here.

I learned quickly not because I wanted to,

I came from engineering, systems thinking, and problem-solving, where decisions if wrong, can have costly and dangerous consequences.

I entered IT through real-world chaos: organisations under pressure, outdated systems, missing access, people who needed things to work.

Over time, I realised I was drawn to:

  • Making systems work properly
  • Building things that are both visual and functional
  • Removing fear around technology
  • Giving people confidence instead of dependency

Three countries, one kingdom &

Engineering taught me to look at the bigger picture. Problems are rarely isolated — they’re usually connected to something else underneath.

That’s how I approach your website.

I don’t just fix what’s visible. I look at how everything fits together, so the solution actually works, not just for now, but long term.

Where the way of thinking began

Living and working in Japan shaped a deep respect for the customer. Not in a transactional way, but in how carefully things should be done.

You listen first.
You pay attention to detail.
And you don’t add things that aren’t needed.

That’s how I approach your website. I focus on what matters to you, not on adding features for the sake of it — so what we build feels right, and works in the long term.

Where the standard of care was shaped

Studying in Scotland introduced me to solving real problems with technology — using websites, data, and digital tools to support how organisations actually work.

At the same time, working in charities and small businesses showed me the problems they face every day.

Limited budgets.

Outdated systems.

Lock-in contracts.

And the expectation to manage websites and digital tools on top of everything else.

That’s why I built The Wee Web Studio.

To offer calm, honest guidance, helping you make sense of your website without pressure, confusion, or unnecessary complexity.

Where the purpose became clear

I worked in collaborative projects with people from very different backgrounds across the UK, all seeing the problem from a different perspective.

We had to make sense of complex ideas and turn them into something practical that worked for everyone.

In fast-paced, real-world projects, I learned that the challenge isn’t just building something, it’s making sure it works for everyone involved.

That’s how I approach your website.

I listen, bring clarity, and help turn ideas into something simple, useful, and built with purpose.

Where ideas become practical solutions

Grounded today.

Technology is changing quickly , especially with the rise of AI and automation.

I don’t see that as something to chase or fear, but something to understand properly.

My background in engineering and data means I look beyond launch day. I think about how your website will adapt, grow, and remain useful over time.

What this means for your website

  • Built to last, not just to look good today
  • Flexible and adaptable as your organisation evolves
  • Free from unnecessary lock-ins or dependencies
  • Thoughtful use of AI, where it helps, not where it adds noise
